JenniferJennifer has always wanted to become an all-purpose celebrity. Jennifer was a lover of various styles of music as a kid, including Afro-Caribbean beats, such as salsa, merengue, and merengue and bachata. In her later years, her preferred genres included traditional pop-hop music like R&B along with hip-hop. She was a huge fan of films and music. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her main source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer, besides being entertainer and Catholic schoolgirl, attended eight years at Holy Family Catholic elementary school located in The Bronx. After a time of four years in the Bronx, she graduated from Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer was a star athlete throughout her school years and played tennis and the track and field. When she was in Castle Hill, she spent her early years in a two-story house. Jennifer moved out of the home of her parents at age 18 and moved out. Lopez was employed in the law office, while also dancing during the night.
